Me and dp have been ttc for 10 months now with no luck :( we already have dd who is 16 months, I fell pregnant after 4 months not trying but not preventing with dd, the only differences with either of us since then is that dp is on quite a high dose of epilepsy medication. I was just wondering if anyone has any experiences of difficulty ttc in the same or similar situation, dp stopping medication is not an option and we would be too worried of the consequences of him reducing the dose or changing meds, is there anything we can do to increase our chances?

I think it would depend on which epilepsy drug it was as there are multiple types, I know it is a recognised side effect of carbemazapine (although a very rare one). bnf.org/bnf/bnf/current/3577.htm
