Hi all I'm 14dpo! Last night I decided to do a strip hcg test and I saw a very faint line - bfp!! This morning (1st wee-tmi) I did another and it was still faint but a definite line there! Thing is, what do i do now? I've been waiting for this for ages and read all I can read about ttc but have not read anything about when you conceive! Lol any advice would be great please x

Get an appointment at your GP and they'll give you the next 'medical' steps i.e. when and how to see midwife and so on...

Carry on taking folic acid, avoiding alcohol & caffeine, & avoid soft cheese, pate etc. Don't feel you have to take pre-natal vits but they can be useful.

Don't get too nervous or panic yet, you have 9mths (all being well) to prepare.

Do relax & enjoy it.

Do join the pregnancy forum...

And do tell the people you want to share the news with!!!

When I've been pg I just ring the gp for a booking appt with the midwife at about 8 weeks, only saw the gp when I started bleeding with dd at about 8 weeks.
