Am I testing too early?

I had a MC early this month,at 10 weeks.I started bleeding on Boxing Day and miscarried on New Years Day.I bled for just over 2 weeks, then done a HPT to check all the pregnancy hormones had left and got a BFN.
I then had sex on the 10th and now waiting for AF,which I've been told can take longer, due to the MC.
However, for the last few days I've had very sore boobs, which also have become noticeably veiny and have had a couple of days when I have felt a bit odd.
I had quite a few cheapy pregnancy tests from Ebay and have been testing for the last few days and each time I've had a BFN.
I'm now wondering if I'm testing too early, but it's been 15 days since we 'done the deed' and I'm sure in my other pregnancies I had a BFP by now, when I've been pregnant.
Of course,I might not be pregnant, but I definately feel like I am.
Has anyone else had a BFN,only to get a BFP at a later date, even though they've always shown up early in the past?
Thanks Smile

Imho you'd have a bfp by now if it was going to happen from sex on the 10th - but that's just an opinion based on no personal experience whatsoever!

Pepper - your m/c can delay your ovulation and arrival of af. It is possible for af to not arrive until 7 weeks or so after the m/c. Also with hormones out of whack it can alter normal symptoms. It could be that you are feeling a bit odd as you might only now be about to ovulate? I personnally normally quickly get my normal cycle back with occasionally a couple of days out. But it is not the case for many people, hopefully your body will let you know what is happening soon.

the first month after a mc your body and hormones are all over the place. There's no point doing a pregnancy test until 6 weeks after your miscarriage is complete, unless you have very compelling symptoms telling you otherwise. Of course, there's no harm in doing cheapies though.

Thanks for your replies.
I do honestly feel pregnant and I also got cramp in my leg this morning which I have only ever got when I've been pregnant too. However I also know that some symptoms are also very similar to when AF is about to come.Infact, since yesterday morning,I've had the period type pains which I normally get just before AF,so if I'm not pregnant I should imagine AF will come within the next few days.
Still have a couple more cheapy tests here, but will try and resist the urge to test again before the weekend Wink
