2nd + opk 24 hours after 1st. Is this normal?

Just a quiery as I'm new to all this, got a + at 12 yest then again just now. Line is very much darker than control line.

I thought the surge of hormone only lasted several hours?

Just wondering if this is normal and if it means the egg has not been released yet or not :)

I had a positive for 3 days once but only usually one day. I ovulated a day or so after the end of the surge. Just keep bonking for now!

Dh thinks all his birthdays have come at once! Was worried as he was away sun till tues so really hoping with the + covering tues/wed we have not missed our chance

Now hoping I can resist testing till thurs 9th rather than trying my luck on mon 6th
