Ok sorry for tmi but I'm desperate this month :)

Been using them everyday since af ended, faint line yest but today it's darker then the control line so I have my positive.

What I want to know though is does this mean I now have a smaller chance of falling pg after the positive as seemingly its better for the sperm to be waiting on the egg rather than meeting it? (just going by what I have read online)

Does the line mean the egg has already been released or it will be soon?

Asking all this as had swi Sunday lunchtime then dh had to go on shift and Is not home till tonight! I'm thinking we have missed 48 hours (bit more actually) right at the crucial time aaarrgghh

I'm hoping there is a chance Sunday's swimmers may still be alive and kicking or that the egg holds of until tonight ;)

Can anyone with a bit more experience calculate my odds so to speak?

I understand that you get your LH surge and therefore positive OPK 12 - 24 hours before ovulation so you should be right on time when DH get's home tonight!

So should I still test a few more times to work out when my surge started?

Worried it maybe started last night and I just caught the tail end this morning?

When you see the positive line, that means "shag now". Usually ovulation will happen withing 24-48 hours of the surge starting.
So if you have a positive today, have sex today and perhaps also tomorrow if you feel like getting a last chance one in. The fact that there might also be some in there from Sunday is also a good thing, but it would seem like today is your "best" day.
