TTC #2, am I being too hard on myself? Honest opinions please :)

Hiya,

I'm a healthy 21 year old and have been pregnant 3 times. Each time, I got pregnant after one session of unprotected sex. I have always been very very 'in-tune' with my body. My cycles are regular ranging from 32-34 days long. I know I am ovulating by monitoring my CM. Which is always the same every month.

My first has just turned 2. We are now trying for a second. I am on my second cycle and tested yesterday with a first response (10 DPO) negative. I have written myself out of this cycle.

I know I was very lucky to have conceived so easily the last three times. Once AF comes it will be my 3rd cycle of TTC. Why is it taking so much longer this time? Am I trying to hard?

I had a chemical pregnancy 4 months ago, and now I think there is something wrong with me and I feel very negative.

Honestly do you think Im being way to hard on myself and that its silly of me to expect it to happen so quickly?

It's not silly, it is understandable - you want it to happen and have proof that it can because it did before, why shouldn't it happen easily again?

Lots of reasons actually!

I am in a similar position although I'm still breastfeeding and have a short literally phase, doctor says I should wean; I think that's rubbish but either way my body isn't playing ball and I'm cross!

We've been trying a while longer than you have but I share your disappointment, let's hope it happens soon for both of us. Don't lose heart, it's only your first try.
