I'm 3 days late...

and i got a negative result i've been late by a day before[except when i was pregnant] my period was due on sunday and my last period was 19/12/05. i bled a little bit from the 2nd to 4th jan it was v. dark brown[sorry if tmi] would this affect my period? i feel i'm pg but tests say otherwise any thoughts?

hi kylie...could the little bleed have been an implantation bleed? and your hormone levels might not be strong enough to show up on a test yet?

sorry, im going to be no help at all (kinda new to mn), but just wanted to wish u all the best with ttc. nowt worse than a neg is there all i can suggest is trying another test in a few days. ive been ttc now for 4 months ish.(me:20, dp:27)so i know how u feel bout the negs. chin up tho and try another test in a few days or sum thing id say

you can have false negatives though

personally I'd test again tomorrow (although you should wait 3 days)

brown blood is old blood .. I wouldn't worry about it .. it could have been ovulation bleeding

As Twiglett says, could still be a false negative. I would expect your test to definitely be showing a positive within a week/ten days of missed period if you are PG.

we have had 3 bfps this month but when it gets to feb we are gonna renew thread title to feb, cause there are lots of us still trying hard!
im on day 10 so its bd all the way from now on!!

i'm so impatient tho i won't be too down if it was neg its just the no period and still negative. mother nature either give me my period or a bfp!!! do you think i should do a test first thing in the morning? and the bleeding shouldn't affect things?

well no AF and still BFN well thats it no more tests for now. i'm just gonna wait for my AF!

buy cheap tests online (google it, u can get 5 for a fiver off some sites) and test every day!!! gl

well AF arrived this mornin. a bit sad cos i kinda convinced myself i was cos i was so late(for me anyway) anyyway just relieved i know one way or another as it was crackin me up not knowing. so thanks for listenin xx
