So I had a +OPK yesterday CD13 with EWCM but no temp rise this morning and a -OPK just now... I'm new to ovulation testing and confused about wether or not I have ovulated yet??? Thank you!

Possibly.

The way things usually work is that you get a positive OPK, then you ovulate 24-48 hours after that, then you get a temp rise the day AFTER ovulation. So even with the shortest time period from LH surge picked up by your OPK to ovulation, you wouldn't expect to see a temp rise until tomorrow and it might be a day or two after that.

Eurochick thanks so much for your reply, so if ovulation quite hasn't happened yet why was today's test negative? Does the LH surge happen that quickly?

Yes. I usually get a positive on e.g. day 12. A negative on day 13 and then a temp rise on day 14/15. I think that pattern is pretty typical.

Eurochick you were right to be patient, I got my temp rise this morning! Grin
