Hello all waves madly

Well my body decided to be play silly buggers the past couple of months. On my first cycle TTC, no less! AF arrived today, on CD46. HARRUMPH. Har har good joke, ladybits! Angry

But I am very delighted to see her in fact because I means my two months of confusion is over and I can now get cracking on this shiny new cycle!

Who's with me???? This is a glorious Superlux Superbus (the kind you'd see US presidential candidates rolling about in), with all de mod cons (dedicated champers fridge and shiny chrome margarita blender).

Zara1984 - TTC#1, Cycle 2, AF due 24 Feb

Congratulations PiggybooSmile

piggyboo · 05/02/2012 15:17

ooh forgot to say the only thing we did different this month was use preseed lubricant, i definately recommend it.

I was already temping/opks and using persona monitor (bit of a control freak, only 3rd cycle) Blush We only DTD on the 3 days leading up to ov (not ov day) and not at all before that (to help build up spermies) previous cycles we DTD every other day when i had CM but found it quite tiring and stressful.

notthehippopotamus · 05/02/2012 15:23

piggyboo I think we should add you to the stats as our first BFP, even though you weren't on them before. It will be a morale boost for the rest of us.

If we're not lucky this cycle I think I'm going to invest in some preseed.

Thanks for the tips, preseed is on the shopping list for next month if we're unlucky this month!

First bfp of the bus- morale is boosted! Thanks notthe

piggyboo · 05/02/2012 18:48

thanks notthe Grin

PuggyMum · 05/02/2012 20:53

Congrats piggyboo!

Looks like it's me an cherrypie sat at the back of the bus with AF due early March! I have a 35 day cycle so feel cheated out of a cycle!!!

Shall we start singing on the bus? Can't think of an appropriate song for TTC'ing....

'I wanna have sex on the beach, come on there's a party' (loud singing from the back...)

PrimalChic · 05/02/2012 22:25

Congratulations piggyboo!!!

Half way through 2WW now and the calm laid back approach is wearing thin...

StetsonsAreCool · 06/02/2012 00:30

Congrats Piggyboo!

Good luck everyone else. Am thinking of you all, and just shed a little inward tear that I won't be joining in this month

ddas and backward, I may see you on the next bus.

Puggy - bit louder please, I need a pick me up!

Chunkychicken · 06/02/2012 07:48

PrimalChic totally concur - despite my initial determination to 'only test if I was late' I am now counting days trying to work out when the earliest I could test would be, to get an accurate result. Answer - still too bloody long to wait!!! Still no 'proper' symptoms, just the boobs, but that happened last month, so figure we've been unlucky this month too... :(

Thereisamumthatnevergoesout · 06/02/2012 10:21

join in singing totally out if tune

I must admit reading all your swi efforts has made me feel like a schoolgirl who hasn't done her homework. Should have been swi Friday and over weekend. Apart from a little action on Friday (not the kind that gets you a baby if thats not tmi) i have been too bloody knackered to jump on dh.

I do have a sniffle today so that probably made me more tired than usual plus the fact that I was working sat and sun.

I think my current approach to ttc is that we are not using contraceptionbut not necessarily ttc on certain days. shall just dtd when we feel like it and accept that it might take longer to get bfp.

I can't risk pushing dh too hard as he hasn't strictly said 'yes, let's ttc'. I haven't brought it up with him because then that would give him opportunity to say he's stillnot ready. Is a strange situation where we have stopped using contraception but are not acknowledging that we are ttc.

Bizarre I know.

So am guessing this will not he our month but that's okay. Will swi tonight if don't feel coldy. Otherwise will hang around on the ttc buses.

Erm... Zara you're not within 5k of Cheshire are you? consider locking dh away until Zara has finished ovulating

Sticklebricksuk · 06/02/2012 10:29

Congratulations piggyboo. Well I'm due on Thursday if my cycle stays at 26 days. Been feeling a bit queasy and had some cramping yesterday and an increase in cm for the past couple of days but other than that nothing. Have a heavy feeling in my uterus area but feels v like the onset of AF so not overly hopeful this cycle I have to say. Am away for work Wednesday and Thursday so am going to take a test with me and will test Thursday morning if nothing by then. Fingers crossed for me and all of us please ladies!

Zara1984 · 06/02/2012 11:05

Bahahaha don't worry thereisamum! [grins] I live in Ireland so there's the Irish Sea keeping me away!

I have finished ovulating now so hormones have gone back to normal. Hoping I caught that fecking egg with all the SWI I got done. DH and I glad we can have a break for a couple of days now! Slightly extremely embarrassing how much they affect me....

Remember my hot neighbour? Well we went round to theirs for drinks last night and had plenty of potent home-made vodka . If there is a fertilised egg inside me, I think it might look like a dodgy pickled egg right now. Blush Blush

Time for the 2ww.... arrrrghghghghghgh.

MrsTwinks · 06/02/2012 11:50

DH has started rolling his eyes at me with my bum im the air and refusing to move ok it didn't help that i ended up diagonal on the bed and he wanted to sleep so now I have an interesting new nickname Hmm Tell me I'm not the only one already starting on the questionable behaviour, I don't know what I'll be doing if I dont get my BFP this month lol

Zara1984 · 06/02/2012 12:09

Omg mrstwinks I know what you mean, there'll be hell to pay if I don't get my BFP this month! DH is away for work over ovulation next month, wonder if home freezing of sperm in advance works??? Hahaha Grin Grin joking, I promise....

OP posts:
PrimalChic · 06/02/2012 15:57

Hehehe MrsTwinks! Legs in the air! We now have got into the habit of DTD, then knees up while DH goes and makes me a cup of tea. I then lie there and read my book for 20 mins. Bliss! The only thing I need to work on is drinking hot tea whilst horizontal...

Tmi... Lots of CM like I had this time last month but I'm still only 7ish dpo. I think this is around implantation time but I'm not having any symptoms. Not going to go crazy this month. Nope.

I have one test left after using them all up last month. Must save it until AF is due. Must must must.

Chunkychicken · 06/02/2012 16:15

Seem to be peeing a lot but that's probably because I'm drinking more than usual...

TooMuchRumba79 · 06/02/2012 16:21

thanks for the laughs ladies!! Grin
I'm trying my absolute darndest not to obsess but seem to be picking up all kinds of negative signs as to why I don't think we got lucky this month, instead of why I think I am (or will be) pg ...like today, I've been pms'ing all day (been a horrible moody cow, getting mad about any little thing) so surely this means AF is on it's way (11 days to go before AF due)?? Sad
Worried! Want all the nice symptoms, to POAS and a BFP!!

MrsTwinks · 06/02/2012 18:52

DH comes home today and asked me if I had POAS yet... I fear the 2ww is going to drive me insane be interesting with him pitching in too

PuggyMum · 06/02/2012 18:59

Doesn't know any more words so now starts a new song...
'your-or.... Your sex is on fire'

Am laughing out loud at our first attempt at legs up the wall... Simply trying to move resulted in loss of the swimmers and then i started laughing which made it worse!

I get the giggles and that was me.. Legs up wall laughing uncontrollably....

GTbaby · 06/02/2012 19:19

I just found some EWCM!!!!

does it count if its only a little bit? i noticed last month i didnt see any... i have read that it might be cos im dehydrated... so now sat watching judge judy with a pint of water waiting for DH to get home hoping he is up for some fun Wink.

notthehippopotamus · 06/02/2012 21:16

GTbaby it counts! How exciting - have a fun evening :)

cherrypiew3 · 06/02/2012 21:48

< joins Puggy at the back of the bus singing >

MrsTwinks How nice that your dh is asking about you POAS. I never tell dh I really do think he would not be happy about how much obsessing I do about TTC.

Really wish AF would just leave now have felt rotten all day.

PrimalChic · 06/02/2012 22:38

puggy you can't laugh with legs in the air!! We discovered the same and the result only made us laugh more!

DH is away at the weekend, AF is due Monday... I only have one test, do I wait or do I pop to boots on Saturday for a cheeky POAS? Supposed to be going out for cocktails, I think it's only responsible to check I'm not up the duff before I hit the martinis, right? Yes, that's the sensible, rational thing to do.

MrsTwinks · 06/02/2012 22:42

Primal, I would pop to boots. We are away the few days before I'm due and have got some Internet cheepies so I can test in the morning(s). I've not had a holiday thats not involved diy in 18 months so I was looking forward to having cocktails before dinner but obviously not if I get an early bfp

sunshinejanuary · 06/02/2012 22:54

Hello All, I am so behind on the times! I have been trying desperately not to think too much about the 2WW and have stayed away from Mumsnet, what an error!! Who else will understand that even though the earliest I can test in Friday I am already thinking I am pregnant because I had a twinge/breasts were sore/want to be etc etc. I cant believe how obsessed i already am and it is only the first month of trying again for #2!
Complaining over.
Congratulations Piggyboo how exciting!
ChunckyChicken I too must have read the pregnancy test box 5000 times to see when i should test, you know, in case it has changed since the last time i read the box...
PuggyMum love the songs!!
