Well my body decided to be play silly buggers the past couple of months. On my first cycle TTC, no less! AF arrived today, on CD46. HARRUMPH. Har har good joke, ladybits!

But I am very delighted to see her in fact because I means my two months of confusion is over and I can now get cracking on this shiny new cycle!

Who's with me???? This is a glorious Superlux Superbus (the kind you'd see US presidential candidates rolling about in), with all de mod cons (dedicated champers fridge and shiny chrome margarita blender).

I'm starting to freak a little as I haven't had AF yet this month. Ok, my cycle is slightly unpredictable, but I've been much starting 15 days after ovulation (as best as I can tell without a kit, but I've been accurately predicting for the last 6 months). That should have been two days ago by my reckoning.

So either my cycle's fucked scuse language or I'm already pg from when we dtd last week. I don't think so though, as surely that was far too late in my cycle - more Maybe I should not think about it for a couple of days. If I disappear for a bit, you know why!

This is why I should stay away from buses... there be madness here But I just. can't... help.. myself

TTC#3, already have DD1 who is 3 and DD2 who is forever a star after loosing her at 20 weeks last June.
I seem to be only fertile during January/February as that is when both DD's were conceived.
I have an average cycle length of 42 days, but this month AF came about 10 days earlier... on exactly the same day as LMP started with both DD's very strange. OV was CD17, instead of usual 24. So I'm expecting a half October due date if I am lucky this month.

I'm currently on CD19, 2DPO according to CBFM, so in 2ww :)

Hate TTC!!!!

Think I'm in my fertile period, all the signs are there, so DH & I too tired last night, think 1st thing this morning is a good comprise. He loses his 'mojo' & now I'm all stressed that we've missed the 'window' and that's another month down the pan...

Logically I know there's prob a bit more time but I just wanted to make certain (belts & braces type approach) with as much SWI as possible. There was S but not much WI this morning. :(

I hate feeling we HAVE to do it. Maybe I should start on the OPKs sooner so we're not at it every 2 days whilst trying to keep up with a 21mo too. But then isn't it even more like you must do it??!!

Want a baby, don't want to try. Feeling :( now. Not a great way to start Friday.

After my earlier rant, I'm looking for a bit of reassurance from a CM Expert if you don't mind, so I can sit back on the :) side of the bus!!

TMI Alert

You know when you see CM in your pants, can that give you a clue as to when you're ovulating, rather than like, literally manually checking?

And if it hasn't quite got to the EWCM in my pants stage, more the 'rehearsal' stage before the main act, does that mean I haven't ovulated yet?

And finally, could I have missed the EWCM bit or is it likely to hang around for a day or two??

Sorry to be so demanding, just need a bit of hand-holding please!!

I signed up for fertilityfriend.com, who now send me a daily lesson on such things (who'd have thought pre-TTC that such things were possible).

It's too long (and far TMI for this time of the morning) to paste in full, but ends with a handy table/list thing. Basicaly, EWCM is pre-ovulation, and designed to help sperm survive while they knock about waiting for an egg...

Dry (like immediately post AF) - Probably Not Fertile

Sticky - Probably Not Fertile

Creamy - Possibly Fertile

Watery - Fertile

Egg white - Most Fertile

Have seen many, many references to FertilityFriend and have resisted it a bit because a) the mobile web site isn't as easy to read/use and b) that would mean we were seriously trying and not just letting it happen who am I kidding here Might have to take a look, but prob not a good idea to do on my work computer!! :o

I think may sign up for FF. DH has the app on his phone but I like the sound of daily emails about my cervical mucus!

Stetson AF was exactly one week late for my last month the bitch and I was convinced I was PG. I have learned the hard way that late period may mean late ovulation and not an impending BFP. But fingers crossed a BFP is on the way for you!

According to my fertily friend charter I will be due my next AF around 1st March, it's my DH's 30th Birthday on the 2nd so wouldn't it be a wonderful b'day present for him to have a BFP!!!

Gosh I am learning a lot here. Like some of you, I never really put much thought into ttc ds and dd. This time things are a bit more complicated. Not entirely sure if dh is on board so if I only get him to swi a couple pf times, they need to be at the right times!

Hello ladies, room for a wee one? I might be in the wrong thread actually, getting coil removed next week and we'll be TTC straight away, though I suspect it'll be next month before we will be able to try properly. We fell first cycle with DS, so hoping TTC #2 will be as straightforward (fingers crossed) :)

Sorry about your tragedy bluetinkerbell but sounds like this is an auspicious month for you, so fingers crossed it turns out that way for you and for all of us!

Sticklebricksuk I had a lot of spotting and things in my first cycle after coming off the pill, so hopefully it will settle down for you. We weren't TTC then so I don't know whether it would have been a problem for that. This is my 8th cycle since coming off the pill but only the second actually TTC, and things do seem to be back to normal now.

Can I jump on? DH and I finally agreed that this month is IT! We have an 18 month old ds, conceived the first time dh ever looked at me without using contraception (at least that's what it felt like to me! I was hoping for a month or two to get my head around finally deciding to TTC so it was a bit of a shock!).

I'm very indecisive when it comes to having babies! I panic constantly until... well actually I think I'm still panicking about having ds So this is making it official!!!

hippo thank you for the reassurance. Rang Nhs direct last night in slight panic but seemed to be reassured that while not exactly is not entirely unheard of as body settles down.

Thanks, Tuesday, I will do. I hope this month is the lucky one for you! :) I doubt it will be for me, as I have a feeling I'm mid cycle at the moment and will be too late to catch ovulation this month by the time the coil comes out.
