It's probably a bit early for this (???) but I think about it a lot. When's the right time? Is there a right time? I had mild preg-related diabetes, an induction, failed forceps and C-section with DS1. I'm 37 this year, fairly sedentary job and lifestyle, but like going for walks with buggy. Have a bit of a back problem but (touch wood) nothing major at the moment (esp now we've stopped rocking DS1 to sleep! He quickly proved he didn't need it anyway!)
Anyway - my Q is - when is a good time to think about baby 2 from a physical point of view?

They say your body needs about a year to recover but everyone is individual. Have your periods returned?

Give yourself 3 months of folic acid and some good supplements and then start again. Avoid alcohol etc if you can. Learn about your cycle and when's the best time to dtd if you're not already an expert. Grin

You're 37 and should go for it now if you know it's what you want. It means being prepared for two in nappies etc but that might not phase you.
