Talk some sense into me girls

So I'm 10dpo.
Yesterday I had a bit of brown spotting. Just a couple of wipes and about a 10p size mark on a panty liner.
Today, just a little when I wiped this morning.
I thought, oh well game over I'm out, but I did a hpt anyway, which was a bfn.

However, I've just gone to the loo and my cm was clear.

Now of course I'm thinking it could be implantation. AF is due at 11dpo, ie tomorrow. I've promised myself that if AF hasn't come by Sunday then I'm going to test again and not before.

Thoughts and opinions please ladies. Talk some sense into me please.

Do you generally spot before you come on Pipbin? Or is this a new 'symptom'?

I'm keeping my fingers firmly crossed for you...it does sound promising...

I do normally have a day of mucky brown spotting.

Do you think it's that? Or do you have any other symptoms that make you think it may be something else?

I'm afraid my spotting has done that several times, and AF has always turned up. We refer to it as Sludge-Gate. Doesn't mean that will be the case for you, but thought I'd be the voice of doom reason, Sorry! I do however very much hope you prove me wrong . Good luck!

The only thing that's making me think that it's something else is that I've had clear cm after this bit of spotting.
Also it just doesn't feel like AF.

Any news pipbin?

Not yet Muddy. Still spotting only. I will not test before Sunday.

So, spotting has stopped and no AF.
Used a passing OPK and got a faint line. Normally I get nothing, I know some women get a line all month.
I then used the same FMU for a clear blue digital which told me BFN.
AF is due today and nothing so far.

Any thoughts ladies?
