Yes, the day it's meant to start, I think...that's what I did last time!

Melliek, I got a negative a few days after I must have conceieved... however I got a strong positive with Predictor 2 weeks later... my period was only just due.
How long ago did ou ovulate?

DO IT DO IT!

It depends how regular your cycles are.

Mine varied from 26-38 days, therefore i had decided that if af hadn't arrived by day 38 then i would test - however, couldn't resist and tested on day 37 and got a very strong positive!

When is your AF due and how long ago did you think you ovulated?

motherinferior · 13/11/2003 16:23

Yes - I should add I've got a very regular cycle and tested on the morning I was due.

Then shook!

I am as regular as regular could be. I am not due for my period for a couple of weeks...just finished ovulating. I am really looking forward to knowing....i've tried very hard! Last time I did a test one week before my period and it was positve but do I really have to wait!! UGHHH

Depends how prepared you are to be let down if it's not the results you are hoping for!

If it's not going to bother you too much then do a test and see what it says - if it will break your heart to see a negative results then i personally would leave it as long as possible!

melliek · 13/11/2003 18:23

You are right Jemma....Lord knows I've gone through so many tests...I think I keep the store in business!! I can handle a neg as long as it turns to a pos later on..lol!

You can use a first response 3 days before and i|got positive but wouldn't recommend if like Jems said you will be disappointed.

If I remember rightly the quickest way to get an inkling of whether you might have conceived is by temp charting. It's too late for you to do it this month but I think your temp drops before your period - so if it stays high for longer than you would expect after ov then there's a reasonable chance you're pg. Be careful though - temping can become obsessive and you run the risk of driving youself barmy if you don't get pg quickly! Good luck!
