Is this normal or could I be pregnant?

I have an 8 week old DD, since she was born DH and I have had sex 4 times and have been using condoms whilst we wait for a vasectomy as we already have a DS as well and don't want any more. I thought my first period was starting yesterday as there were a few spots of blood but there's been nothing since.

I went back on the pill as soon as I could after DS so I don't know what my first period after childbirth should be like. Is this normal or could I be pregnant? Just to also add if I was pregnant I wouldn't consider an abortion but idea how we'd manage!

Well, it's possible you've ovulated and the condoms haven't worked (only abstaining is 100% effective contraception)and you're pregnant. It's unlikely but possible.

Do you have any tests? Only way to find out is to POAS.

I think this is pretty normal, from what I hear (no personal experience) - it takes a while for your body to go back to "normal" especially if you're breastfeeding. The only way to be sure is to do a test!
