Yes. With my DD I even took a home pg test and it was negative, although positive a few days later.

The real first signs were: going to a pub with friends after work, ordering a pint as usual, and then suddenly not being able to drink it. Getting home and not wanting the suddenly strange smelling food.

Feeling queasy the next day.

Coffee tasting "off" - always happens before a missed period for me.

so 5 dpo wouldnt be too unusual to not like taste of coffee , tingly boobs and feel a bit yuck with the odd headache thrown in? dont usually get those symptoms before my period! fingers crossed, will wait 10 days before testing though and wont get my hopes up!

Well, yes it is quite early if you are sure of your ovulation date, the egg would be only just arriving in your uterus to start implanting. TTC can of course mess with your head and allow you to find all manner of symptoms that you might not have noticed otherwise. but you never know, give it a week and you might find you were right. Personally I've never had anything convincing till about 11dpo.

I knew very early, the test said negative initially but I just waited a couple of days then retested. Symptoms were primarily sore boobs, mild nausea and tiredness.
