As above really. I suffer from really bad PMT, low mood, irritable, teary and severe cramps. It really affects my mood. I've noticed it's much worse since coming off pill to TTC.

Any natural remedies I can try ?

My PMT is so bad at mo I'm questioning if we should stop TTC. DH will divorce me soon if I don't get something to ease it :(

Oo no...I would go and speak to a pharmacist or herbalist-which is free at holland & Barrett. They can advise you on what's the next option to suit you.

Hi makinglemonde, sorry to hear you have bad pmt. It can make life absolute hell, I should know as I used to get it really badly. I would reccomend this book: www.amazon.co.uk/More-PMS-Pre-Menstrual-medically-Nutritional/dp/009181622X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1326458404&sr=8-1

Its a book that explains PMS and how to beat it. If you cant face working through the book then you can just contact the autor direct as she does telephone consultations to help stop your PMT. Thats what I did and it really worked for me. No more PMS and it has changed my life! And my husbands and childrens too. Im a much nicer person. Its basically, diet, supplements, relaxation and execise. Good Luck.
Feel free to PM me if you want some more detailed information.

Thanks Wifey6 - I will seek help before I give up TTC. It just takes so much out of me but I would be devastated to stop TTC.

Heather1 thank you so much, it's great to hear someone has overcome it! I will PM you when I have more time.

Thanks x

Ds swears by magnesium said it changed her life

Magnesium for me too. My GP suggested it, couldn't believe the difference it made! My GP also referred me for anxiety counselling. I found I was bottling feelings all month then unable to control them when I got pms. DH was very grateful for the change in me! I'm also eating a healthier diet, less processed food and much less refined carbs, lots of exercise. Last thing you want to do when feeling crap but it all helps.
