My DD is nearly three and I've finally got my head around the fact we are trying for another - I was going to stop at one but if my body is capable. Only took three months off the pill with DD. We've been trying for about six weeks now have had two periods in that time. Bought some ovulation tests just in case. I not much of a drinker but thinking of giving up caffeine - or am I worrying too much,

I was told up to 43yrs we are still in with good chance. Best of luck to us. x

Hi all I'm 41 and trying for my fourth ! Youngest is 6 and I have never had problems then hit 40 /41 and have started with perimenopausal symptoms :( cycles irregular and ttc over a year now ! I have decided to stop at the end of this month so this is my last cycle. ! Fingers crossed for u both but my biggest piece of advice is go for it as I never expected symptoms at this age always been 24 day cycles and no family history etc .. best of Luck. ;)

Hi all - ovulation testing for three days and am wondering if am being a bit too OTT about this. Going to try and relax if and I can get pg - then so be it. My cycle is regular - to the hour almost every 28 days and I've none of my old PCOS symptoms. I'll come and join you on Fantastic 40 thread see you...

Hi ladies, I'm 41 with 2 DC, 10 and 6 and we are TTC no 3. Had 3 MC last year, conceiving is no problem, they just don't stick and two appointments with two different consultants, one NHS and one private as I wanted second opinion, point towards my age being the issue. Both have suggested low dose aspirin, high dose folic acid and progesterone supplements with next pregnancy so am going to throw everything at it and keep my fingers crossed as this will be the last time. So many positive stories on here though of us older mummies! Good luck :)
