Me and my DH have been trying to concieve #2 for about 12 months now.

Anyway, AF is/was due between 05 - 09th of Jan (so any time now).. So we were SWOI on the 6th and it looked like a bit of a mass murder afterwards with blood (sorry) everywhere, so I presumed AF had arrived well and truely. I normally have 3 days of really heavy period then it's all over, but with that I get quite bad cramps (enought to take pain killers with).. Anyway, on Saturday apart from a tiny bit of blood it's like nothing happened, it's like AF has been and gone, I've experienced no pain apart from sore boobs for a few days. I took a First Response test on the 6th, as I was being impatient, but it came up negative.. Could this be the onset of menopause or just a duff period, anyone else had this? It's very odd?

I'm using CBFM and really don't know when to press the M button again as apart from a lot of blood on Saturday night I don't feel I've had a period. My DH did check it wasn't from him but he's fine, and tbh if he'd bled 'that' much he'd have known it was him!

It could be that you're pregnant and it's not showing yet, or it could be a really light, short period? Are you usually very regular?

If nothing comes in the next week and you're still getting a -HPT, given that you've been ttc for 12 months as well, I'd suggest a trip to the GP might be in order? But then, I am a bit GP-happy :o

Thanks Pop, I'm usually as regular as clockwork so tis a bit odd. I'll try another test later in the week just in case.
