OPK advice

So, today is day 21 and I usually OV on day 20 (36 day cycle) So yesterday I tested a couple of times, due to is being Sunday.

This morning I tested FMU and got nothing (I know you shouldn't FMU but still), anyway after my run (yes I know), I tested again, and I had a line but not dark enough for a +ive

Now I never have a line and tend to get a fade in.
My question is, was this urine OK to use? It was very dark in colour but was about an hour and a half after I got up. I'm hoping that I will get a +ive later today.

You can use FMU - you are just advised not to because the surge in hormones may have been from the previous night rather than that morning, so it can throw your timescales off, if you see what I mean :)

I thought you weren't supposed to use FMU because your body metabolises the relevant hormone overnight so you will always get a -ve with FMU?

I would think the urine after your run should be fine to use though, as it's not FMU. Dark in colour is fine - you shouldn't use wee that is too dilute for OPKs.

For anyone else who is interested I did an OPK on another post run wee and it was very negative.
I was worried that the concentration made the line show up but it seems that's not so.
