Hi all - does anyone have difficulty conceiving number 2 and is over 35? It may not be age related but would love to hear your stories and advice. Thanks:)

First things first - do you have a regular cycle? If so then it is likely that you are ovulatory (despite being 36!), if not see your gp (you will need lh and fsh measurements taken between day 2 and day 5 with a progesterone measurement later in your cycle).

Did you have a normal pregnancy with dc1? What was the delivery method? How quickly did you conceive with dc1?

How long have you been trying for dc2?

It is important to make sure your weight is optimised (bmi of 19 to ideally no more than 25 (my bmi is currently higher and my periods have become irregular with just a couple of excess lbs!))

Sorry for all the questions, please feel free to pm me if you wish or just ignore if i've asked anything too personal - in my eagerness to try to help i tend to overstep boundaries Blush
