Im 41 years old and am convincing myself i may be pregnant!! I am on the pill (marvelon) and have been for 6 yrs and missed 4 pills last month...I got a very light period/breakthrough bleed this month which was unusual for me...have had numerous hot flashes since a week before my period was due and my boobs are premenstral feeling swollen and very tender!! as i had fertility issues in the past im aware of temperature changes so i decided to check my BBT since my light period and because i feel hot most of the time and its been in the high 98s every morning!! as i didnt temp previous to this im not sure it means much though and as im on the pill im really not sure how accurate my BBT would be!! last night i had brown spotting out of the blue 5 days into my next pill packet!! this never happens either!!Im also getting night sweats every night and am constipated... i feel im going abit mad! :) ....I darnt mention my concerns to my partner as he would love another child but as we had unexplained fertility issues and eventually did IVF to get my DD in 2006 after 6yrs trying im really sure we couldnt!! has anyone ever had a light period/bleed whilst on the pill and been pregnant?? im guessing you wouldnt get any sort of bleed?? and all these weird symptoms point to somthing else!! maybe menopause!!?? id so appreciate your advise thankyou
