Losing weight in 2012 to help get that bfp!!

It's been a year since I started ttc. I fell pregnant straight away but had a mmc at 12 weeks in April. There's not been a sniff of a bfp since :(. The only thing I think is effecting my ability to concieve is my weight. I've put 9lbs since losing the baby. I'm really determined to lose some weight now to give my body the best chance possible. I now weigh 11 stone 1lbs and I am aiming to lose half a stone by my 30th at the end of February. Anyone want to join me??!

I've been ttc for a year now too - I'm trying to lose my "last" half stone to get to my "ideal" weight. It seems silly as it's not an issue for me ttc and I'll gain it all back, right? But I'm sick of feeling like a heifer and not being pg and there's only one of those I can do something about, lol :o

Do you know your BMI figaro? I only ask because 11st2lbs was my starting weight, too, and although my BMI was 25 (iirc) my GP didn't consider me overweight in terms of ttc.

It it silly that we need to lose weight only to put tons on when we finally full pregnant!!!

Don't know my BMI off by heart but I know I'm over it. My Wi Character expanded when I went on my Wi fit the other day!!

Thought it would help to log it on here, a bit like weight watchers!!!

Hi Fairy! Christmas was not kind to me either!!! All that food made me eat it! Lol!!! Feeling really horrible today! Looking forward to getting back to work and a normal food routine!

I guess I am lucky in that I don't gain weight easily - only 2lbs over Christmas - I just don't lose it easily either!

Do either of you do a slimming club? I've found WeightWatchers really good :)

I found I put weight on on weight watchers. I'm currently seeing a dietician - who said what I'm eating isn't bad so we're finding out whether it's portion size! I think mine is lack of exercise than food!

I've never been to anything like that! I was quite slim up until a year ago so never really needed too. My OH is really into fitness and he's put together a gym routine and meal planner for me. Have just got back from the gym!!!
