CM Confusion

Ok, I understand that CM goes through stages during your cycle - white & opaque, EWCM at most fertile time then back to opaque - but how closely is this related to eggs actually being produced?

I ask because I've observed these stages but I've been on the pill for years so no eggs were released.

Does the CM continue this cycle when you become pregnant or does it change and stay in one form until your ready to give birth?

Different women get different CM at different stages of their cycles - it's not usually that clear a transition iykwim. EWCM is usually seen at ovulation, but doesn't mean you definitely ovulated.
