I'm due AF 11/1/12 so out of time for the previous bus so thought I'd start a new one! Well a space shuttle (why not!!!).

So I'll start:

I'm currently on cd 15 so have been SWI like mad this week :)

Aw Lime, I'm sorry. Maybe have a vino/piece of sushi/some stinky cheese/a bloody steak to cheer yourself up. I'm also on my 1st cycle and I'm pretty sure I'm also going to be disappointed! So hard not to build it all up in your mind.

Hey Congrats Missus!! I just read your post as my DH walked and said "we've got our first BFP on the shuttle!!"

Awww, Lime. Dont feel to bad. I agree with ahhhhpushit and Oikopolis, treat yourself. Its also my first month and im trying not to get my hopes up to much.

TTC #2 cycle 1 SWI AF 14/1

Hope I got all that correct - conceived DD from only 2nd shag w/out contraception and without really considering whether we were TTC so already very anxious this time around, and not really up to speed with the TTC acronyms etc!!!

I already have breast soreness too, so finding it VERY VERY hard not to get hopes up or dread the next 2 weeks/coming months. Fingers crossed & baby dust being scattered liberally... :-)

Thank you for the sympathy everyone. I'm feeling a bit better about it all now and DP made me a lovely dinner and supplied me with lots of chocolate to cheer me up. Bless him

Lime, I know that feeling. We've been trying for months and each TWW was so anxious. Until I turned to gin and fags. We conceived at our annual Christmas party house where we lived it up for a week with our friends. And just when I least expected it, sore boobs and wacky dreams!

Hi all, can I join? DH and I have bitten the bullet and decided TTC no. 2... It is scary, especially as DS was a surprise. Ovulation should have started on the 29th, so we have been SWI every two days since. I'm on my phone, can some kind soul copy and paste please?

(tmi) I think I just spotted the teensiest bit. I think OD was 30/31 Dec. Too soon? Imagining it?! Guess who'll be running to the ladies every 20 mins to check today...

And when the cat jumped on my chest this morning my breasts were sore. But he's a 5kg cat so of course it's going to smart a bit.

Primalchick - know the feeling!!! I've always had a bit of an irregular cycle since coming off the pill many, many years ago (was regular as clockwork prior to that :( ) so not entirely sure when I ov but think its about the same as you.
Plus, BB soreness was the first thing I got with my DD so I'm on tenterhooks & we've only been trying for a couple of weeks!!!! Keep thinking it must be too soon & trying to talk myself down from the high expectations ledge... :o

I've opened the decaf tea just in case. Tastes like dishwater! Ah well, the more I drink, the more excuses I have to go and check in the ladies.

Looking good celebmum I'm also a bit scatty, boss had to point out I had odd shoes on yesterday. I put it down to back to work blues! Luckily I had both pairs under my desk.

its only our first cycle, so not expecting much to be fair. i cant take the pill so we just use condoms but stopped this a few months back.. not really trynig as such just 'meh' IYSWIM!

whereas this month/cycle we have been SWI!

I did get pregnant with DS in my first month of actual trying so thats keeping my hopes up!

(that and all the other spooky coincidences! such as my DSs EDD was the week of my mums birthday, if i were to be pregnent now EDD would be the week of my dads birthday, according to 'dates' when i conceived it was a night one of my besties stayed over and we had chinese food.. this same friend just stayed over again over the new year and we had chinese food!)

Hi all

I was on last bus, fell off so would love to join the shuttle (DS loves rockets so this would be righ up our street!!)

I am an old bag of 41, have DS who is 4.10, MMC in Sept 2010 and nothing since. Had nurse appointment this am to get fertility referral rolling so had initial tests and get results and next steps in a couple of weeks. Currently on CD13 and this is 2nd cycle of CBFM and 3rd cycle using BBT. Previously had erratic and ridiculously short cycles and last month was proper 28 days long woo hoo. If hit another 28 days then AF is due 19 Jan but could be sooner or could be later who knows as I certainly don't!!!!

Hello everyone!

I know this is quite crowded bus but could I please join?

I'm TTC#2, this is cycle 1

Last AF was 26th Dec but I don't really know when next is due, after months of 26-28 days cycles, an emotional shock has disrupted everything so Sept-October: 38 days; Oct-December: 34 days. I guess could be anywhere between 23rd Jan and 1st Feb.

Oh, and I'm not on the Pill since august 2008 and really don't get any symptoms before AF apart some cramping sometimes.

Delphin - also have a bit of an erratic cycle, so the app on my phone is brilliant for me as it keeps track according to the average number of days per cycle. Not sure what its called, think its PERIOD TRACKER for Android phones. It also tracks your ovulation, although that's a bit rough & ready... Just a thought!! :)

Missuswife - to answer your question, when to tell - we told my parents almost straight after the BFP for #1, as my Dad was pouring me a glass of wine... We also then did the rounds to tell both DH's sets of parents & my sister. We waited until the 12wk scan to make it public knowledge. Each to their own though - do it when you feel ready! Same for knowing the sex, its up to you... Congratulations, enjoy it!! :o
