NOW BOARDING!

I'm due AF 11/1/12 so out of time for the previous bus so thought I'd start a new one! Well a space shuttle (why not!!!).

So I'll start:

ahhhhhpushit TTC#2 AF due 11/1

I'm currently on cd 15 so have been SWI like mad this week :)

Sorry to hear that Bumblebee. If AF is very light or anything you should do a test anyway just to make sure as apparently some people still get bleeding and the other drops of dark blood sounded promising. xo

83BumbleBee · 27/01/2012 17:52

Hey Angelico,

Its definatley AF, she has come with full on cramps, bloated tummy and general feeling of wanting to stuff myself full of chocolate:-) Have no idea what the spotting was all about earlier in the week!? Just there to tease me!

Just spoke to DH and his response was, can we have more swi this month!? To be fair, we would have been really lucky to get a bfp this month as we only dtd a few times so im not going to complain about his suggestions!!:-P

Sorry, didn't mean to post that twice!

busylady99 · 27/01/2012 19:29

Angelico do you know what level of hcg the superdrug tests detect? Congratulations on your BFP.

83 sorry about AF. Fingers crossed for next month.

I'm on CD30 and 9DPO. I had nausea and period-like cramps on each of 5 - 8 DPO, worst on 7DPO but feel ok today. As it's my first cycle off the pill, I don't know when AF is due. Wednesday will be 14DPO but I'm not planning on testing until Saturday if I can wait that long if AF hasn't arrived. Have to admit I nearly bought a test on my way home but managed to talk myself out of it.

ahhhhhpushit · 27/01/2012 19:38

Just stoppng by to check up on how my shuttle is doing...

Wow more BFPs!! Grin

Angelico · 27/01/2012 20:28

Was beaten to the answer! :-) But I know it picked up faintly 5 days before AF was due. In fact it was really weird - I had just been having the worst day ever and had what I thought was psychotic PMT. I actually said to my DH "Yeah well we're definitely not pregnant this month". Ever had a weird, insane PMT frame of mind where you almost want to make it worse??? Hard to explain but that was what I was feeling. I did the test to just kind of prove how sh*t the world was. And then when a ghostly pink line appeared I was like ... oh. Am I seeing things? That was Mon. It was clearer on Tues and by Wed (2 days pre-AF) it jumped out. If you doubt the power of a cheap superdrug test check out...

www.babyandbump.com/pregnancy-tests/861986-superdrug-uk-tests-reliable.html

So basically what I thought was nuthouse level PMT turned out to be... pregnancy. Oh joy.

PuggyMum · 28/01/2012 16:35

Just done a first response test 5 days before AF due. BFN Sad

I know it's still early but I've got a birthday party tonight so thought I'd test just in case.

Have cramps too so think I'll be getting off the shuttle soon.....

Pass the Wine

Puggy

mrsmellow · 28/01/2012 17:54

Hi ladies, I'm having an emotionally rubbish day today (suspect PMT - and had BFN this am unlike Angelico Sad )
CD39.... ridiculous..
I know it has only been 6 months and I know there are lots on the talk boards that have been trying much longer, but I'm really down about it today. DH doesn't quite get it, he's very supportive, but can't understand why I'm sad.
I'm normally very upbeat and can rationalise things, find silver linings etc and I hate the way hormones can cloud that ability.

My good friend had her baby this morning and when I got the news I literally sobbed, I think with jealousy Blush (obviously not to her! just DH)
But hey - bring on the Wine and tomorrow is another day...

mrsmellow · 28/01/2012 17:57

And in a fit of desperation ordered some OPK's, and got some FSH tests included -anyone know anything about them?! I'll be on here (or another shuttle) with bewildering results soon no doubt Hmm Grin

cherrypiew3 · 28/01/2012 19:38

Puggy Sorry about the BFN hang on in there though it might just be to early to test.

Mrsmellow I totally get the jealousy thing been to a party today and was surrounded by pregnant women and I could not stop myself from looking at their bumps wishing it was me.Blush Hopefully now with the OPK's next month will be yours.

superpenguin · 28/01/2012 20:53

Puggy and mrsmellow it's not over til AF arrives, so I would test again in a few days... you never know....

I'm a great believer in very cheap tests bought off the internet (worked for me with DC1), my five tests for £1.29 (incl postage) has to be the bargain of bargains though surely.

Oh the dreaded 2ww...

busylady99 · 30/01/2012 13:04

I'm out! AF arrived yesterday morning. I'd been having cramps and nausea all week but as they'd started so early I didn't necessarily think it was AF but at the same time wasn't particularly surprised when it arrived. My temperature hadn't dropped below the cover line which I thought was a bit mean Wink. It was only 11DPO but as it's only my first natural cycle I'm not too worried that it's too short; I'll wait for it to settle down.

Still, on the good news front, I saw my Orthopeadic consultant and he said that he sees no reason why pregnancy would damage my spine further and they will just keep a close eye on me. He also pointed out that as we'd started trying last month that he supposed that nothing he said would have stopped us!

I'm going to bagsy a seat on next month's shuttle - good luck everyone and fingers crossed for lots more BFPs on this oh-so-lucky space ship!

It's very quite in here I hope that's because everyone is now on the pg thread.

Busylady sorry AF got you fx for next month.

Puggy have you tested again yet?

Mrsmellow how are you doing?

I am still waiting AF due Friday and not feeling any pg symptoms so I have a feeling she will be calling.

PuggyMum · 30/01/2012 23:43

Not yet x just been to watch warhorse and am a blubby mess! Not sure i could cope with a bfn! Or a bfp for that matter!!
I'm going to wait until Friday... If AF doesn't arrive as expected on Thursday x

mrsmellow · 31/01/2012 12:02

AF arrived today... not a big surprise, but moving onto the next bus!
good luck to those still waiting.
I've done some more reading and am pretty convinced that I've been having anovulatory cycles- but can't work out if it will just 'fix' itself or whether I'll need something to turbo boost my ovaries - so I've booked an appointment with a gynae for 2 weeks time to try to find out.... Also have OPK's in the post.. so watch this space... Smile

PuggyMum · 31/01/2012 18:51

Just POAS as DH is making dinner and has put Wine in the fridge.
I've also had a horrid taste in my mouth since tea time yesterday where everything tastes sour...
BFN again.
Only 2 days to AF so looks like I should prepare for her arrival and also book my seat on the next shuttle! X

Fairygodmother1 · 31/01/2012 19:12

I'm on the 2WW now!!! Fingers crossed this month!

busylady99 · 31/01/2012 20:43

How mental would I be to test just to rule it out? I believe AF arrived on Sunday but it was light and had gone by mid afternoon on Monday. It's my first real period but from the little I remember of my pre-pill cycle, it used to last about 4-5 days. It's incredibly unlikely and I'm 99% sure it was AF rather than a heavy implantation bleed but I've got that niggling 1% of doubt left and if we exchange on our house tomorrow there is a bottle of champagne and a rare steak with my name on them

cherrypiew3 · 31/01/2012 20:57

Mrsmellow sorry AF got you hope you have more luck on the next bus please save a seat for me I have a feeling I will be joining you soon.

Puggymum you never know don't rule yourself out just yet.

Busy Go on POAS Grin

Well I have had lots of cramping today so pretty sure AF is on her way.Sad

busylady99 · 31/01/2012 21:03

Cherrypie you are a bad influence! Grin

busylady99 · 01/02/2012 07:37

As expected a clear and definitive BFN. I'm glad to put the niggle in my head to rest until next month.

I had to laugh at myself buying the test last night. I had a massive grin on my face to make it clear to the lady on the checkout who, let's face it, I'm unlikely to see again or be remembered by, that this was exciting and good news. I was one step off waving my wedding ring around!! It didn't help that they put the test in one of those security boxes so I couldn't go to the self checkout as planned. I felt like a teenager embarrassed about buying condoms Blush Smile

PuggyMum · 01/02/2012 14:37

I'm still getting this horrid taste in my mouth! It's worse when I have dairy products and everything tastes sour! It was also a very def BFN so I wondered if I am imagining but I didn't even know this was a sign of pg till I googled it and it's def not in my head!!
AF is due tomorrow and apart from cramps last week I've not got any of my usual warning signs.
How much if this is in my head I don't know but we've only been trying for a few months and this is my second cycle where I've checked dates etc to dtd... How do people stop from going slightly mad with it all??

Prunella79 · 01/02/2012 16:34

puggy there is no escaping the madness, just ride it out for the next day or two fx sounds quite promising
