I'm due AF 11/1/12 so out of time for the previous bus so thought I'd start a new one! Well a space shuttle (why not!!!).

So I'll start:

Sorry for flurry of posts!!! Can the gap between ov and AF be shorter than 14 days? What's the shortest it can be?

Hey everyone!! Hope everyone's been making the most of the holiday for some serious swi!

AF finally ended for me yesterday so I was looking forward to seeing the new year in with a bang last night with dh... Unfortunately, at 11.50 I was struck down with food poisoning... Midnight was far less romantico than planned! Ho hum... Only cd8 so hope even though this is my wtf cycle I've still got plenty of time!! How's everyone getting on?

Pushit.... From memory (I used to work in infertility, all the use it is to me now!) although time to ovulation can vary due to stress illness etc, your luteal phase will usually stay the same number of days every month for you, 12-16 days depending on the individual person... So if you've charted it to be 14, it should stay 14 days every month... Not sure if that helps and obviously being our bodies there can be exceptions to the rule.... There are some moments I relish being a 'complicated female', conception really isn't one of them!!!

Pushit - if this is your first cycle off the pill there's no certainty anymore. luteal phases will generally stay the same but i would start over with ideas of how your cycle is going to be from now on. maybe keep notes /start charting (don't know anything about this) so you can then see patterns forming each month - from listening to others there are very few people who start off with a normal cycle straight after coming off the pill.

This is roughly 9th or 10th cycle off the pill. Last few have been 21, 21, 25, 25, 28, 28 or thereabouts.

I havent charted, just kinda guessed that ov would be around day 14. With the ewcm y'day and today we are doing some more SWI (just in case ).

I conceived first month with DS1 (after coming off the pill after 7 years on it!). And we only DTD ONCE!!! !!!! I thought it would be as easy this time...... ...

To add - this is the first month we have actually gone out of our way to try properly.

ahha, misinterpretation then, sorry. still, if there's anything i've learnt from MN conception boards it's that there are no few certainties when it comes to TTC

Well I had sex for the first time in my entire life without contraception last night. Still sorting that out in my head. So I guess that means we're TTC! (It was planned not omission, we kinda are TTC)

Don't know all the stats. Still getting my head round it tbh.

And, I have realised how little I know as we were waiting till the new year so it would be a Sept baby at the earliest, so was slightly by the thread title, then re-worked it out on my fingers and twigged. Such a novice. Can I sit at the back of the shuttle until I've worked out what's going on please

How are we all feeling today?

We DTD again last night (for good measure!) so that is 8 times in the last 2 weeks with ov somewhere in the middle [I think!]

Going to stock up on some preggo tests later and try and resist the urge!!! .

Around ov+4 today.

im ttc #2, have 22month old DS already.

Cycle a bit irregular, anything from 28 to 32 days in past year or so, so quite difficult to pin down exactly when AF due. However, I have noticed ewcm now (and first SWI last night!) so I will say AF due 2 wks from now 16th Jan.

We conceived DS pretty quickly and am crossing fingers and toes for this one -

I tested today ov+5 haha I know I know But I have had 21 day cycles so it could have been ov+12!!!! BFN (obviously...)

They were £ shop ones (£1 for 3) so very cheap!

I am TTC No 1, cycle 3, AF due 15 January. Should be ovulating around now, but haven't had any positives on the few million OPKs I've pee'd on over the last couple of days. Haven't really had any pains or symptoms either so not feeling too hopeful.

Have squillions of early PG tests from ebay which means I'll start testing about the 9th January.
