Which lube???

Hey Hey, i hope you all had a great christmas and are looking forward to the new year.

Im a bit of a newbie on here and after a bit of advice/your opinions/stories.

My DH and i have recently decided to start trying for a baby. Its still very early days for us but my DH mentioned to me the other day that the lube we use isnt good to use when making babies. Apparently, it kills the sperm as does alot of lubes......???? We use sensilube which was recommended to me by a nurse a few years ago due to a problem i was experiencing at the time.

I never really thought about it before, just assumed that all lubes are ok to use, you just use what works for you. Has anyone had any problems with conceiving and the lube they use? Ive done a bit of research and found preseed. Has anyone used this before? What were your experiences?

Any advice/thoughts will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I think preseed is supposed to be one of the best as it provides better conditions for the sperm to survive/swim in. Don't really use lube much but I've heard it is supposed to be good

Yes you're choices are pre-seed or conceive plus. Pre-seed is good for anticipated sex because you insert it a while before using an applicator. Also good if you're using the jiap approach to ttc. Conceive plus is good for general lube. I'd get either off amazon because they're a lot cheaper than in the shops (like 5 quid cheaper).

I agree with Phoenix. I've never seen preseed in a physical shop (you have to buy online) but you can buy conceive plus in Boots.

Thanks rasberrytipple, Phoenix and eurochick. Ive bought some preseed off Amazon but it wasnt the one with the applicators so am assuming i just use it as normal !?! Oh well, im sure i will work it out when i get it!

I might have a look at conceive plus as well.
