I need some help. Do you still produce CM if you are on the 2ww? I inseminated with donor sperm last week and was just wondering, if it's worked would I still be producing 'hostile' CM? Sorry if its tmi but I'm praying with everything I've got that it works

You'll still produce CM but it's likely to be different to fertile CM. while it's an indicator of when you're fertile, post ovulation doesn't tend to have an indication of pregnancy. I doubt it's likely you're producing hostile CM...if you mean CM that will attack the sperm or fertilised egg? The sperm that were going to get through will have. Your cervix will be closed now so nothing else can get through. I get what you're thinking about but I don't think it's anything to worry about. Good luck!

thanks for the reply, i guess i'm just winding myself up, i think i assumed that if an embryo implants then you won't produce any CM of any sort, and i still am. I am panicking about everything to be honest! Just had a bath and it was a bit hot, now i've got cramps and i'm convincing myself i've detached anything that may have attached itself.

Seriously?! You have to calm down. You'll have been producing cm every cycle for years without taking a blind bit of notice. Normal during the tww is sticky CM but some women will see creamy or watery CM. having a bath will not dislodge a fertilised egg! Think about it, some women don't know they're pregnant for weeks and go to the gym, run, do extreme sports even and go on to have normal, healthy pregnancies Xmas Grin
