Hi, i'm in the same boat altho due on 23rd. I don't have any symptoms either except some cramping but I had that last month too with no BFP. This is also only my second month off the pill so i'm not overly hopeful for an early christmas present. I seem to be seeing babies everywhere at the moment too - the pleasure of working in a busy city centre at Christmas!

mytime777 · 14/12/2011 16:03

Well I'm the same. Only 2nd month of no contraception ( came off pill ages ago though as had migraines).
I've had some cramps , different for me as normally get a few before ovulation but mine have been last few days so I'm secretly hoping but also thought I had symptoms last month but turns out I had stomach flu!! Sad
Let's hope we get a good Xmas pressy, one that can't be wrapped up.

Only good thing is if we dont get bfp we can at least get sozzled over the festive period!! Confused

Hi guys,

I'm on my 2ww I think! I came of pill in nov but haven't had a true AF since. I'm unsure of cycle length but based on 28 days my AF is due fri/sat

Good luck x

TheNewMrsC · 15/12/2011 10:27

Hi ladies also in 2ww af due 23-25 roughly (still not 100% regular since mirena removal 4 months ago)

If af isn't here by Christmas day I am going to test then :)

Had a bit of pink spotting with some wee red dots in it last night but at 6dpo i think it's too early to be implantation so trying to put it out my mind . Is everyone else going mad symptom spotting ?? Grin

HumanFly · 15/12/2011 13:15

Another one here, though it was kind of an accidental 2WW. We inadvertently had several moments of passion around ovulation time, and work has been so crazy it's only just dawned on my period is due tomorrow.

I REALLY REALLY REALLY x infinity don't want it to come. Or rather, I hope to be pregnant! But I just feel so depressed and angry today, I could literally smash up the room while sobbing for a cuddle BlushHad no pregnancy or period symptoms at all but who knows.

I think I am kind of freaked out because a year into our relationship, I fell pregnant accidentally (resulted in a miscarriage) - and now, four months after coming off the pill and actively trying, it still hasn't happened. It all seems so random. How can it be that it seems like such a small window of opportunity and the accident just happened to have everything in place at the right time - and trying makes it seem like finding a needle in a haystack :(

TheNewMrsC · 15/12/2011 14:36

Hi humanfly I know exactly how you feel !!! I conceive DD totally by accident and I mean it is a complete and utter miracle (on the pill dtd ONCE in the whole month) and it got me pg . I have wanted to have another for about 3 years now but held off due to various reasons DH and I had decided to start the ttc 4 months ago , got my mirena out and still nothing !! It's sooooo annoying !!!

Are your af quite regular ? Fx for you !!Smile

jbadgirl · 15/12/2011 15:36

It's really hard cos I don't know if the "symptoms" I have been experiencing are AF on its way or not! I don't even know if my cycle is 28 days or what as only just off the pill!

jbadgirl · 15/12/2011 15:38

Oh yeah and we also had Dtd at a time when I could have been most fertile (if on a 28 week cycle) lol

I'm becoming more and more obsessed with this ttc malarkey!

mytime777 · 15/12/2011 15:39

Grrr u just typed out a long reply and then posted but it said it couldn't connect so lost it. Will have to retype when i get chance Angry
Sorry ladies

Count me in!! AF is due 23rd. I'm in a slightly different boat because I inseminated with donor sperm from a sperm bank! I am going mental with imagining symptoms and am desperate to pee on a stick but it would be pointless as we only inseminated on Friday night!! I can't tell you how muh I want this to work. Let's hope at least one of us gets a BFP! It's lovely having people in the same 2ww boat!

Spuddybean · 15/12/2011 19:39

Hi All. it's our 9th month of trying and i have been taking manuka honey and we have done it every other day since day 5 (and 2 days in a row around ovulation). I am due AF on 25th (wooo what a present thanks father xmas!) and DP is so positive (he basically thinks the rules are if you shag on the right day then you get pregnant) and seems to think it will be a great xmas day as we will have a grub on the way.

However, i have had my hopes dashed (especially August when i had swollen breasts and loads of symptoms) too often so i am predicting a terrible xmas day of crying and feeling like shit.

I am 34 (35 after xmas) and this is my 1st. :(

captainmoll · 15/12/2011 22:57

Hello all
I'm coming to sit in your waiting room too as I'm due to test around the 21st, and am also obsessively making up symptoms to persuade myself I'm preggers symptom spotting.
It's our third month of trying, but DH is very very busy/stressed/exhausted most of the time so I don't hold out much hope for his swimmers..
Made the mistake of refusing DH's nuts (boom boom) at lunch today and had to say I might be maybe possibly perhaps slightly showing some signs and have been told nuts are bad. He's been very happy since, having taken my maybe as a probably, so now it will be both of us getting crushed if I get a negative next week.
Good luck everyone - looking forward to hearing lots of good news next week!

HumanFly · 16/12/2011 07:26

I think we've kind of on-purpose avoided reading anything to do with "getting pregnant", on the logic that if we pretend we're not that bothered, fingers-in-ears la la la, it'll happen right under our noses. Ha. I see massive flaws in this plan.

I think my period is coming....I can kind of sense it. Eurgh.

Best of luck to all of you and wishing for a bounty of BFP's!

MulleredWine · 16/12/2011 08:11

Captainmoll same day for me!
Third cycle of clomid, did all the necesary shagging, etc, have avoided all alcohol at about 6 different Christmas work parties (massive sacrifice - am sooo bored by not drinking!)

Want to test NOW but obviously no point. Think it might be a bad crash if BFN this time, nice timing so close to spending Christmas with 'When are you going to have a baby?' inlaws, eh?

Good luck, all!

HumanFly · 16/12/2011 12:35

Not pregnant. Oh well.

Good luck to all of you still on the 2ww!

captainmoll · 16/12/2011 12:42

Humanfly! Sorry to hear that, but on the plus side, lots of christmas naughtiness for you! Good luck next time round.

HumanFly · 16/12/2011 12:44

CaptainMoll, that's super lovely - thank you! And yes, lots of positives. Haven't yet managed to raise a smile but will. Hearing about any BFP's from you all would be wonderful!

jbadgirl · 16/12/2011 15:51

No AF so far but convinced its on way!

Pocket1 · 17/12/2011 07:55

humanfly so sorry about af. Go have a blBiscuitBiscuitdy lovely and indulgent Christmas and try again in 2012.

I was on my 2ww a week ago after ivf. I had loads of symptoms and non-symptoms - boobs were fine, tummy cramps, bit of spotting and a raging thirst. Pretty much drove myself crazy trying to guess whether I'd be pregnant or not. I found out last Monday that I was pregnant. I guess I'm saying that you don't know till you know. I have everything crossed for you to get those BFPs before Christmas. Keep us up to date...

X

Spuddybean · 17/12/2011 11:03

Pocket1 your post made me cry - that's pathetic isn't it?!!

i hope it's hormones from being preggers, otherwise, embarrassingly, i just have emotional diarrhea!! I have spent the last 3 days blubbing at everything, sad and happy. i'm frightened to go out!

captainmoll · 17/12/2011 11:06

Well done pocket! Big congratulations!
I'm afraid my impatience has got the better of me today. Just tested and got a no, but it hasn't helped as my cycle varies from 28 to 33 days so the test was between 3 days and a week before AF. It was a tescos own as well. Is there still hope for an awesome Xmas pressie?

Pocket1 · 17/12/2011 16:16

Ah spuddy bless you Wink. Hang on in there. Your day will come on Christmas day! Is that your official test date?

captain I'm so sorry about he test no and to be honest I don't really know how the sticks work (because of the ivf I had a planned day for a blood test). Can you try again in a couple of days?

Best of luck to you both a d fx for you Grin

Do update

FriendofDorothy · 17/12/2011 16:29

I am due on the 23rd. Ultra-shitty because that is my birthday.

I am pretty sure it is going to be another disappointing months - 15 months and this is all a bit tedious now!

HumanFly · 18/12/2011 15:20

Pocket, congratulations! That has cheered me up no end :D

Spuddy, FriendofDorothy and Captain....fingers and toes crossed. Please keep us updated! And if it's not to be this month, we three have lots of sexing with our gorgeous DP's to look forward to ("sexing" is such a funny word, can't stop using it!).

NeedlesCuties · 18/12/2011 18:32

Salut!

I am joining this thread >plonks self down<

I came off the pill in Oct to ttc DC2. Period due tomorrow.

Past two days I have been super clumsy, keep dropping things, tummy is swollen, boobs sore, feeling very boaky quesy and dizzy. I refused dinner tonight as it made me feel sick to look at it. If you knew my normal appetite you'd know that is very odd for me!!

Will be testing on 20th.... or tomorrow if my patience runs away with me!
