Is say 12 too late to start dtd if ttc?

I have a 33 to 35 daY cycle

No, and if you have been stopping at day 12 up to now you have been missing the right time.

It's an ideal time for you to be starting. You probably don't ovulate till day 18-20 if you have a long cycle. You should be having sex from about day 13 to day 22 on an every other day basis if your cycles are consistently 33-35 days.

Yesterday was day 13 and husband went out drinking grrrr!

So will start tonight!!

Ovulation tests helped me heaps, you can get cheap ones on amazon or others from boots.

Next month I'm going to get the ovulation tests as we don't ever get the chance to do it! Done it this month on day 15 and that's it! Today's day 17 and husband is out all night!
