Well I have missed AF and feel sick, bigger boobs, like what I don't normally, back pain, darker nipples, white spots around and a nurse said she noticed my boobs look different BUT a negative HPT result. My mum said she was like this when she carried me and 2 weeks later she went to docs and got told she was PG. I am so confused as have all symptoms and nothing. Could I be??

Yes you could still be...how late are you/how many days post-ovulation are you? When did you last test? Was it with fmu? If you're more than a week late might be worth going to the doc who can refer you for a blood test so you know for sure. Missing period with all those symptoms does sound like it could be....

But...you do hear of people not getting a positive hpt until they're a week or more late...but it really isn't that common...last month I was a couple of days late but getting bfns and I called the fertility clinic who said yes it's possible at 15dpo to be pg but not get a positive but were at pains to stress it's very unlikely.

I tested this morning with fmu and I ovulated 10th Nov till 14th and key date was 13th.

I was due to start AF last fri and finish today so confused.

Hi Amy, how do you mean you ovulated 10th-14th? Ovulation only really happens on one day. And any chance at all it could have happened later than you think? Are you charting? I think that's the only way to be really sure you did ovulate when you think you did; OPKs can give you a surge but you don't then go on to ovulate..

If you're absolutely sure you had ov'd by the 14th then I reckon you should think about going to the docs. Until AF comes it's not over, but think you also have to be realistic that you would most likely be getting positives by now. Really hope you get the outcome you want..

We are charting in a way (app on ipod) then we just going on my body's signs e.g. more discharge. I have no signs for AF but other symptoms still there. We not using OPKs. Does this affect anything??

Hi Amy, I didn't test positive until 18 DPO and my mum had a similar experience too with my brother. My dating scan put me a few days later than that, although I'm quite certain of my ovulation date. Interestingly even then it was a faint line it was a day or two after that before I got a darker line. All the best
