and did the deed w/DH today. Am bfing but NOT using birth control. DD2 4 weeks old tomorrow.

He was all for it! Was like, 'Oh, just once won't hurt.'

OMG! What were we thinking??!! It was all I could do to stop myself.

We don't want 3! Can't afford another, really.

that anyone would want to have sex 4 weeks after giving birth.....!

hercules · 06/01/2006 17:40

I love the "Oh, just once won't hurt" and the "playing with fire". Is it really that good?

NomDePlume · 06/01/2006 17:40

i know tommy ! I'm impressed expat ! Go to the doc tomorrow and get the morning after pill

expatinscotland · 06/01/2006 17:41

Tommy
I'm back at my pre-preg weight.

The only thing that stopped me is that I haven't had my Brazilian yet!

No, cod! I just couldn't bring myself to do it w/o having had my Brazilian, which isn't till the 20th.

Too much Latin American good breeding, me!

mummytosteven · 06/01/2006 17:44

. I'm just boggling that you can be ar$ed to have a Brazilian done at 6 ish weeks post natal!!!

NomDePlume · 06/01/2006 17:45

4 weeks after the birth, my weight was NOT what put me off rutting !

hercules · 06/01/2006 17:45

which is more painful- childbirth or a b thing?

expatinscotland · 06/01/2006 17:46

My mum had me by scheduled c-section (labour is so melodramatic!) at 11AM Sat. morning so my dad could still make his morning golf. She woke to a champagne brunch and the surgeon did her tummy tuck along the scar as I was her last child.

Gotta love Latin America sometimes!

ditto NDP. Weight was the least of my thoughts putting me off!

puff · 06/01/2006 17:47

re tummy tuck with c section

NomDePlume · 06/01/2006 17:47

JEEZ

expatinscotland · 06/01/2006 17:48

Quite common among many Latin/South American women, NDP, for years - I'm 34. Nothing new about it except to the Brits, perhaps . . .

Whatever floats your boat, I guess, but not for me.

SoupDragon · 06/01/2006 17:50

I remember reading an article once that claimed most Brazillian women opted for c-section to preserve their "honeymoon freshness"...

WigWamBam · 06/01/2006 17:57

Our NCT teacher showed us some American adverts for c-sections and their exact wording was "Keep your passages honeymoon fresh".

Blech ...
