Implantation bleeding.

Apologies if this has been asked before. How many days after conception is implantation bleeding most likely.

Was trying to remember this as I'm ttc number 2.

I think it was around one week after we had conceived. A week before my period was due - I remember thinking oh great my periods come a week early!

Used a tampon on the first day - then it tailed off. But my PMT symptoms (sore boobs etc) continued.

Really? Enough to need a tampon?? My 'period' was a week early last month but a lot lighter than usual, went on for 3 days but was only even slightly heavy for one day (TMI?)

At the time I questioned if it could be this but when it went on for 3 days I thought it could not possibly be. Sorry, not wanting to hijack, I was just surprised (Crosses fingers)

Goldenbrown - yes it was definitely enough to need a tampon, but not really heavy like my usual periods. It went on for 2 or 3 days but got really light - like just spotting. I had had odd bleeding before but the reason I was and did a pregnancy test was that I had really sore boobs and was in a foul mood - whereas with a normal period my pmt symptoms would disappear as soon as the bleeding started. Hope that makes sense!

Between 6-12 days after conception, approx a week before af is due for regular people. Most common on day 9 after conception.
Can be anything from 2-7days.
I tend to believe women's testimonials about what colour/how much/how long it is, as a lot of sites (especially clinical ones) are very definite about what it should be like, that completely contradict people that have actually had it!
(I've had to do a lot of research on this lately!)

Thanks for all the replies. I had some lite spotting yesterday and this morning and now nothing. It would be 5 days after conception (if it's happened). Suppose I'll just have to be patient and wait and see.

I had implantation bleed in my 3rd pregnancy. It was 10 days after ovulation and it lasted just for a couple of hours. I had a tiny bit of pink blood and I thought that AF was gonna come very soon ( I have a short lutheal phase) but on day 14 still hadn't arrived so I did a test and it was +

I had an implantation bleed with this pregnancy. It was the day before period due but I had already had a positive test. I had red blood spotting for an afternoon so obviously thought it was mc. Now 22 weeks with no further bleeding.
