Can you tell me how long it generally takes to get an appointment from referral and then how long after the initial appointment it takes to get test results back please? Is it likely to take months and months before I even get any answers? I'm 42 in about a month, so time is not on my side. I'm just trying to work out whether I need to be sorting this out privately before I run out of time.
