Been TTC about 7 month and not really trying/ not actively avoiding since last Christmas.

I have a DS who is now 6 years. With him the urine tests all showed BFN dispite me showing all the early symptoms. The GP ended up doing full bloods and to shut me up added pregnancy test on, pregnancy test came back positive and I was about 8 weeks by dates. I still had AF although it was lighter and shorter.

My last 2 AF have been about 2 days and very light but GP refuses to do bloods as urine tests keep coming back BFN. The last one was 2 weeks ago.

Yesterday I started beeding really heavily with a few biggish clots and heavy cramps. Is this a chemical pregnancy or is there something else that could cause this? What should I do next, keep trying or take a break?

You should try to seea different doctor and they may be able to help you. Just because you bleed in early pregnancy it does not necessarily mean that you have or will miscarry. Best thing to do is to book a doctors appointment with a different doctor and they will be able to advise you better. x

have finally been able to get another appointment with GP. She has now allowed a blood test after, getting my archived medical notes from the surgery where I got BFP with DS. The earliest they could get me in for bloods however is a week today.

So now got a 2 week wait for results.

If you have your blood test form take it to your local hospital and go to the phlebotomy dept, they can do it for you if you wait.

Phone the hosp before you go just to check I'm right but thats what I do with my blood tests.

The doctors is part of the local hospital. To get to the nearest bigger hospital will cost a lot in bus fares.

TBH i can keep busy so the wait will pass pretty quick and I think the GP believes me that I know I was/am preggers so if it does come back as BFN she will take note this time.

Test come back negative so am gonna have about 6 months where we're not actively TTC where I get into better shape and off of some of the medication.
