Bean I love the jumper! What colour are the stars? I started a new pair of socks last night Xmas Smile

I was temping but then stopped due to demanding puppy. I do feel very warm though. But this could mean anything Xmas Grin

Stasi · 06/12/2011 16:11

Maybe - ah ha! You were temping, so you know what your average temp was before? Could you take your temp in the morning and compare to older temps?

Mine stay the same basically cycle to cycle, so could be useful, no?

beangrower · 06/12/2011 16:14

Aw thanks Maybe - stars are same yellow as sleeves... might break up the stripes? Could also do a little snail design but maybe a bit too odd?

I have heard all sorts of people tell me they got a pet then fell pg so has to be a BFP for you.

Hmm - wonder if DP would consider another dog. I've always wanted a whippet and the terrier would have a buddy. Xmas Smile DP is more of a cat-bloke but I'm a bit allergic so only a distant admirer.

Show us your socks when you're done then...

possiblemaybebaby · 06/12/2011 16:14

Hmm, this is a possibility Stasi..... I suppose it would be interesting either way, all in the name of science Xmas Grin

Imps7 · 06/12/2011 16:16

Bean the jumper is AMAZING!

I've also read that stay well hydrated is good for EWCM - I drink 2+ litres of water a day and always get goodly amounts of EWCM - may not be down to that but I guess it makes sense that your body needs lots of water to make its own fluids...or something. You could try Preseed as well if you're worried about EWCM - but as many wise rat smackers have said, I don't think you should be worrying unnecessarily about it.

Solars - ARG for you. But Maybe (who, between you and me, will be PIACR later) is right that you will not need the appointment for obvious reasons.

Imps7 · 06/12/2011 16:16

staying well hydrated...

possiblemaybebaby · 06/12/2011 16:17

< Xmas Blush at bean's saucy suggestion>

I shall show you them. They are in a kind of peach/gold/coral colour which sounds vile, but I have fallen in love with the yarn. It was from a sock club, and wasn't sure of it at first, but now love it!

I think yellow stars and snails would look lovely! I think pregnant and a puppy are such a tricky combo that I surely have to pregnant no? Xmas Grin

possiblemaybebaby · 06/12/2011 16:19
beangrower · 06/12/2011 16:23

Yes - Imps - always trying to drink water but not sure how much I manage. You are a very good waterbaby indeed. But I'm not drinking tea or coffee - only herb teas (or hot water with lemon) so am hoping that this will help. I tried preseed last month and will use again - ta for reminder - though would prefer to work up some good gue of my own if poss. Xmas Smile Have strong feeling that EWCM comes later in the month and that I am oving a bit later than I thought but will need to temp to confirm (if oving at all). Wasn't really aware how to check CM until reading books recently. Have been a bit slow off the mark on a few fronts methinks.

Please take temp Maybe - we're on our seat edges. Xmas Grin

beangrower · 06/12/2011 16:24

OOH - crikey. Wasn't trying to be saucy - apologies. Honestly have heard that people get pets then fall pregnant as a coincidence.

possiblemaybebaby · 06/12/2011 16:25
beangrower · 06/12/2011 16:25

Oh - ok. Nothing to do with pets. I better leave you all to it now. Xmas Blush

possiblemaybebaby · 06/12/2011 16:26

Xmas Grin Xmas Grin at Bean I meant your sock proposition Xmas Grin

beangrower · 06/12/2011 16:27

Yes - Maybe - deffo pg. Good way to do it - chaos everywhere but they will grow up together.

Socks sounds delish - love the colour combos.

DS up - TTFN.

ScrambledSmegs · 06/12/2011 16:32

bean that jumper is amazing! I think the garnishes sound lovely too. Wow, you lot are pretty talented aren't you? Nothing I've ever made has looked that good, maybe I should put more effort in!

So that's Popcorn, Stasi and me with the Stuck, Tired diagnosis then? Hmm, that seems a little odd, especially considering the amount of questions we had to answer!

Imps7 · 06/12/2011 16:39

Is there a Brooking No Argument diagnosis? Clearly not I guess otherwise everyone would have got that. Major flaw its theory though Xmas Grin

cakes82 · 06/12/2011 16:50

Hi I have been lurking on this thread, trying to absorb the positive vibes.
I did the fertility test from the book and I also got the Tired Stuck diagnosis!
Looking at wlogged that sounds more like me tho

Stasi · 06/12/2011 17:04

Smegs, Popcorn did you read the notes about the types? I didn't think I really fit either of the profiles, except for one or two points.

Tired symptoms:
Often feels weak or lethargic - no
Prone to getting sick - no
Gets out of breath and sweats easily (yes), gains weight (no)
Poor appetite - no
Prone to bloating, gas, and loose stools - no
Low sex drive - yes
Short luteal phase - maybe, average is 11 days
Feels cold: hands, feet - yes

Stuck symptoms:
Stressed out, easily angered - no
Tension headaches (no), nervous stomach (no), high blood pressure (yes), or muscle tightness (no)
PMS Symptoms including breast tenderness and mood swings, painful periods, irregular cycles, clotted menstrual blood. - yes

There were so many questions, and the answer to a few of them were very subjective. Is your LP long? (what's long?), is your menstrual cycle long? irregular?

I've decided to do the test again and not answer the questions I'm not sure of. The new results are.. Tired and Dry

Dry symtoms:
Dry skin, eyes, and hair - no
Often thirsty - no
Thin - no
Tends to be constipated - no
Often feels hot: flushes easily, night sweats - no
Short cycles or light periods - yes
Insomnia - never
Often restless, fidgety, jumpy, or anxious - no

Anyway, I should work!

PopcornMouse · 06/12/2011 17:28

I've cricked my neck swimming like I'm afraid to get water up my nose It was fun though, and very relaxing ? though it would have been more relaxing if it hadn't been chock full of men doing unnecessarily splashy childish manly swimming strokes Hmm

bean It looks lovely!! I think it looks fab as-is, but stars could be very fun. I am on the star-fence :o

maybe what socks are you knitting? :)

solars nightmare!!! What was the scan for, again? Blush Is it time-sensitive?

I did read the ?answer?, stasi but they all said to avoid alcohol so I decided it must be tosh :o Wink

PopcornMouse · 06/12/2011 17:30

bean how can you tell what shape it is if it never reaches your pants? I usually find it after going to the potty tmi Blush
Today's pant-snot really is far too early though, so it must be the sticky sort. Though ironically it would have been due now, if I'd not had an extra-long cycle last time...

beangrower · 06/12/2011 18:28

Hello all - weird about stuck/tired - although I suspect these symptoms are conditions that affect the modern Western woman a lot. I'm a bit pale but mostly stuck.

I plan to put up some of the diet/lifestyle advice tonight when DS has been tucked away.

He's wearing jumper now - v cute and q christmassy. Thanks all for looking at pic. DP will decide on the stars.

Hmm Pop - the dry stuff usually ends up in your pants but admit that the wetter stuff usually comes out during potty time (you mean no2s innit?) I think early EWCM without ov impending is something to note on your BBT chart. Toni Weschler book, Pop - worth a read.

Laters.

GreenOlives · 06/12/2011 18:57

Hello ladies!
I don't log on for 1.5 days and I find 8 pages to read through! Has taken me ages to catch up on what's been happening. Bean it was too much mulled wine at the wedding not champers! Xmas Wink
Really sorry to hear about the fire Have, I'm so glad you and DH are ok. My FIL had a terrible house fire in the summer, he was in the house when the computer set on fire and it spread so quickly that he just had to get out and the house ended up completely wrecked. It's terrifying how quickly it takes hold. I really hope your insurance company get things sorted quickly and efficiently for you.
Imps still brooking hard for an agreeable pee stick, remember Little had to try a few before she found the right one Xmas Wink! I love the resignation letter, lets hope you can write it for real later this week!
Cupcakes - city break sounds fab, enjoy and have a very Happy Birthday (you did say it was a birthday pressie didn't you?)
Hello far, nice to meet you. Holiday sounds wonderful, it's always such a shame to have to come back to RL isn't it? Still, Christmas is just around the corner and that's something to look forward to.
I'm feeling very festive after my lovely day out in London yesterday. I had great company, great shopping, great food and great wine - what more could a girl ask for? Xmas Grin Shrek the Muscial was fabulous too! I'm completely knackered today though!

possiblemaybebaby · 06/12/2011 19:44

Pop I am currently making these. Sorry to hear about your neck Xmas Sad I didn't make it to the gym tonight, I am so so tired, and feeling very down in the dumps and podgy Xmas Sad

Sounds like you had a lovely day yesterday Olives!

These types sound very interesting. I haven't taken the questionnaire.

Welcome Cakes how are you? Welcome to the land of the smacked rat Xmas Grin

TheLittleFriend · 06/12/2011 20:22
