Anyone using these? they cost a bomb but if my IVF fails I'll wish I had got them.

I took the ones with DHA after reading about how brilliant they were. . I found them great though expensive (am in Ireland). I liked the feeling that I was doing everything right, if that makes sense - and I found that reassuring! Good luck

I see....oh well it's only money!

I've just started the vitafem this weekend along with a whole heap of other lifestyle changes. Hoping very hard that Santa will bring me a special present this year. We've just started down the testing route so like sobloodystupid said about feeling I'm doing everything I can within my capability to get pg. But yes, they are very pricey!

Fluffycloudland77 · 27/11/2011 17:52

Yes it is a bit of a slog isnt it? so far I have largely given up tea (had two cups today so shoot me), stopped eating margarine allergic to milk so no butter anyway and I'm drinking nettle tea, That tastes of nothing!.

Still to come is contacting the accupuncture lady who has had success with other patients at the clinic I have to go to. I'm doing that tm before I phone my gp to ask if I can go to a different clinic than the one the pct wants me to attend. The Pct should have responded by now but knowing PCT's I am not holding my breath.

Fluffy CLoud - Is neetle tea good for conception??

Fluffycloudland77 · 27/11/2011 18:11

Apparently! (sp). Tastes like weak mint tea to me.

I'm on green tea/fruit teas/no alcohol/caffeine at all/eating nuts etc and trying to up my fruit & veg/cut down on red meat and eat breakfast. Nearly two weeks in and still alive lol. The things we do eh?!

Fluffycloudland77 · 27/11/2011 18:25

Yup, and if it works you dont sleep for the first 5 years, then they get to be teenagers 7 years later and hate you.

I did read green tea inhibits B12 absorption. Zita West said to avoid it I think.

I might get to read her book if DH picks it up from MIL house where I had it delivered to. Without mentioning IVF.

I can just hear it now;

Mil - Is it book

Dh - yes

Mil - whats it about

Dh - IVF.

Stealthy.

That's interesting, the green tea was recommended by the same person who recommended the Zita West vitamins! i'll have to ask. No point un-doing one with the other.

You make it all sound worth it Fluffy Grin

Yes, dh's relatives have a teenager, I keep telling them people on here say they get back to normal eventually.
