still breastfeeding so no periods but ready to start trying for another baby now

so how do I encourage my periods back other than stopping breastfeeding? I love not having periods, and quite like breastfeeding (though I just do it twice a day as we mix feed). But I am ready now my dd is nearly 1 to start trying for number 2.

My dd is nearly 10 months old and still no period. I want to ttc again in Jan but am not sure I will be able to unless I stop bf, which I would rather not do as dd refuses all milk unless it comes from a breast.

I'm in a similar position too my ds Is almost 1 and still bf's. He has morning, afternoon and evening. Then all night as we co-sleep so he does have alot! I have images of forever co-sleeping/bf! Lol

Hi I am in the same position, time is not on my side either as I am 42 next month. Have been trying to wean my 6month old girl but it is nothappening very quickly so have not made any progress in reducing BF. Honestly getting very depressed about it all. Never realised I would have problems conceiving again....
