Could I really be pregnant?

Helllo girls.
I am new to this forum and cannot figure out if I could be pregnant or not. It is torture not knowing.

I should point out that I am not ttc. Sometime around the 3rd of november my dh and I were halfway through the "act" when he pulled out. We are pretty sure he did not ejaculate inside me but I don't know about pre - ejaculation and have no doubt there may have been a little of this.

I know nothing about my cycle except my last period was the 23rd of October and I have a 32 day cycle. I used the babyhopes calender and it said I was ovulating aroung the 9th of November. Either way I have had very tender nipples for over ten days. I had very light red and brown discharge during the week with very mild cramps. I have had a few waves of nausea too. My period is due around the 24th of November.

I did a First Response test last night and it was negative.

Am i being absolutely ridiculous thinking I am pregnant especially from just pre ejaculation.

Thanks for listening

i'd say it's unlikely.

the only way you will know is to wait and see though, and take another test if your period is late

It is unlikely but ever so slightly possible. I would suggest sorting yourself out with a decent method of contraception if you are not trying to conceive.

It is too early for even a first response test to tell you reliably. Wait a week.

Hi KitandKat,

It was a heat of the moment thing and we always, apart from this time, use contraception. I don't want you thinking I am some numbskull who would use the withdrawl method as a method of contraception. Thanks for the reply. Will test later next week.
