My friend has been TTC for about 6 years now. Please what do you advise her to do or take?

Has your friend been to her doctor? I would recommend she is it's her doctor who will be able to refer her for further testing etc.

Hi, has she been for any tests already and has she been trying properly ie temp/ovulation predictor each month etc? My friend has been trying for around 2 years and no luck also. I would suggest going the doctors if she has been trying actively for that long may be something simple or may not even be her or the doctor could even just put her mind to rest that mothing is wrong, some people just have unexplained fertility. If she wanted to look at things to boost her fertility such as multi vitamins, I tried zita west vitafem it is supposed to reset your bodies natural balance and help prepare for pregnancy. I bought them from Pride Angel online shop. They also have male fertility tests that you can buy and test at home, may help if husband is embarrassed? I recenly read a blog on there website about reflexology and accupunture helping infertility, may be worth taking a look? blogs.prideangel.com/post/2011/11/Can-Reflexology-help-you-get-pregnant.aspx Hope this helps! Sorry for rambling on, but essentially advise her to see her docor. You are a good friend. best wishes to you both xx

Yes she has been. She does have a hormonal issue, but otherwise that she's ok. Her husband has two daughters from a previous marriage. She doesn't like to talk much about it but sometimes she gets very anxious because her husband wants more children. I've told her to come on here but she wouldn't. She seems afraid.
Thanks alot wrighty2010 i've copied the name of the multivite. Did it work for you? I hope it did.

How and when was the hormonal problem diagnosed?. Hormonal problems can cause lots of ttc problems and they are actually more common than people realise. Why is she so afraid too (she feels like she has "failed"?).

Can you explain more re the hormonal issue; if its for instance PCOS or thyroid problems then taking multivitamin tablets are not going to help. After 6 years too this couple should seek further help from a gynae at a subfertility unit.

Even if her partner has 2 daughters, it's no guarantee there isn't something wrong now - they should both get checked out.
