I've been lurking since the start of the first thread you ladies started (which was far more exciting than Eastenders!) but I can't control the TTC madness any longer and am giving in and joining you all if that's okay.

Am TTC my second and am currently at end of 2ww. But I did a test this morning and it was a BFN. Think AF is due sunday so still a bit early but I just know.

Oooh, it's so good to let the madness out and actually talk about it with other mad lovely ladies TTC.

Well we had an epic fail last night - been opk'ing all week faithfully, although haven't had a second line yet.... DP away now until Friday so I thought we'd better swi last night just in case...... and we both fell asleep mid foreplay. Oops!

Pony - I try I really really try not to symptom spot but its soooooo hard. However SIL has just told me her and the kids have a tummy bug and so that probably accounts for the throwing up this morning and has dampened my excitement.......marginally.

oh I have been symptom spotting like crazy too Feeford, but like you Pony I think it ends up being pyschosomatic, is that the word?! But I swear on days 7/8 past ovulation I had (tmi alert) pink/brown CM and lower back ache. Which only makes the BFN from this morning more soul destroying. Bah.

Once that happens you just want your period to come.

You lot are going to have to stop - snorting out loud in the very quiet doctors office! Stupid community health services take forever, made an appointment at 8 but got here and had to take a number anyway!! Wtf?! Annoyed.

Frilly - I had my BFP dream literally minutes before I got my BFP! It was day 9 so if you are anywhere close to that I'd test. Test!!!!!!

Secret I demand you test as well.

In fact I have an extra test lurking about in my car, who will give me the most chocolate for it?!

Oh and i have decided to tell them my real LMP date even though it will put me ahead by about a week, I know I really am not 5 weeks at the moment since I know Ov date but this way I'll get my scan a week earlier

I'm thinking I might join the OPK party, never used one before. Can anyone recommend one that is virtually fool proof?

Also can someone message me about the super secret facebook group so I join? I nearly got spotted on MN in my lunch break the other day and don't want colleagues to be on bump-watch while I'm still in TTC mode.

Yippee doctor has confirmed my pregnancy and referred me on to an OBGYN, apparently a new one who is quite young and fit

Have an appointment on the 30th to get my free insurance card (woo) and free debit card pre loaded with cash to buy free essential food items for pregnancy (milk, bread, eggs, juice??!, veg and fruit) woo. This single mothering is paying off so far feel a bit like a benefit scrounge haha.

Calling my new obstetrician later today to hopefully get an appointment soon, although prob not before the 30th when I get my medical card.

They gave me an EDD of 16th July

Way to go Fish, that's awesome!
