I had my Mirena for about 4 and a half years and prior to that had the depo provera injection and as a result havent had a proper period for about 6 or 7 years. I had my Mirena removed 05/10/11 and had a period 08/10/11.
As ive not had a period in so long I dont really know how long my cycle is or whether its likely to take a while to settle down. I did take a pregnancy test on tuesday (was OH birthday, thought it would be a nice pressie!) but came back negative, but thought I was probably being a bit optimistic anyway.
If my cycle is 28 days period would be due today, I dont really want to start spending a fortune on pregnancy tests, but I have no patience whatsoever!!!
Does anyone have any advice or experiences they could share about TTC after having Mirena removed.
