Hiya ladies I dont know where to post this but I am going out of my mind!
I haven't had a period since the end of March and DH and I are TTC#2. After months and months of going to see my GP I was referred to a gynae who said i could have PCOS. The consultant sent me for an ultrasound which didnt show any cysts on my ovaries and blood work came back ok, albeit on of the hormone tests was borderline but my GP doesn't believe this is in line with PCOS. The consultant prescribed me Norethisterone which I took 3 times a day for 7 days and it resulted in a withdrawal bleed on 23rd Sept which lasted for 5 days. I am now on CD39 with no bleed and negative tests but I am experiencing cramps on and off now for about a week and it's really starting to bring me down. Over the past 3 months I have gained a lot of weight even though my diet hasn't changed any so this is also making me feel a bit depressed.
I also has a subtotal thyriodectomy last November as I had a massive cyst growing on my thyroid.
I was wondering if anyone else out there has experienced anything similar? I don't see the consultant again until January and not sure if I can cope with this much longer :(
