feeling a bit sad

Only started TTC in June. Last week I realised that I had had no period for 7 weeks (usually long cycles) so did test as was bit queasy and tired. result = negative. then period arrived 2 days after. Today I have been told the last person in my NCT group from having DD aged 2 is pregnant. Thrilled for them all but now they are all due DC2 within 3 months of each other and I am not. Was so unsure of even wanting TTC til June now all of a sudden I am broody as anything and really irrationally gutted not to be with them. Is this normal or am i totally overreacting

No I think that's totally normal. I think it's a real rollercoaster of a journey, even if you've only just got on the rolercoaster (I'm only cycle 2 and I spend way too long obsessing thinking about it).

On a very rational note (I can be very rational with other people, just not myself), June is no time at all, what 4 months. You'll get there. How long did it take ttc#1?

took about 5 months with #1 and probably had more sex that time (sorry if TMI!)

oh not TMI at all. You'll get there and appreciate it all the more cos you had to wait a wee while. This month could well be your month.
