what now?

ok so we have a 12week old DD. IVF. And apparantly I cant get pregnant due to part of an ovary, partially blocked fluid filled tube. The other tube and ovary are gone. Last period 30th Aug. ThinkI had one before too. However when I worked out the average days ie from birth to last period it was 28.5. Im 28 days regular like clockwork! So why has it now been 31 days and no period? Im not sure I want to do the test just now or just keep waiting. Im totally besotted with DD and want only her. Help me. I need to work out how I will feel after this test for being both pregnant and not pregnant. Before DD I would have been thrilled by this.

read this back and its not making too much sense is it? sorry. what I mean is my last two periods are averaging 28 days regular. So why is this one not shown up as its now 30 days.

hon - i'm not surprised you feel mixed up as a 12 week old is still so young.

My advice would be do the test now before you decide how you will feel. There's no point in speculating over something that may or may not be...

If you aren't PG then no drama - you have your DD and you can concentrate on her,

if you are PG then what an unexpected bonus and hopefully you'll be a mum of 2 rather than one.

Your DD was obviously much wanted and quite rightly you are delighted with her so if it is just to be her then that will be great and if fate grants you another then fabulous!!!
