Just wondered...

Just before I got pg with dc1 2 years ago I had a large cyst, and in my early scan they found another 2 cysts. Does this mean that I have pcos? Or doses that require many cysts at once?

Suddenly thought of this, and it's something new to worry about!!

PCOS is a misnomer - the "cysts" aren't really cysts but multiple follicles.

Ovarian cysts is a separate condition and is a growth on the ovaries, just like the cysts you can get elsewhere on your body.

It sounds like you had the latter, so nothing to do with PCOS. Stop worrying!
