Got my hopes up :(

My husband & I have been "seeing what happens" for 5 months now. for 2 weeks I had every pregnancy symptom going, morning & evening sickness too. I was convinced. I did a first response test, it was negative. Still convinced it was just too early.
Yesterday I had very light brown bleeding. Then by tea time I knew I had my period, but 100% worse than normal.
I took myself off to bed, after putting my Teddy to bed. I felt so devastated.
I know 5 months is not long, but I was so sure!

Have you come off the pill? It could be that the pill was masking your PMS symptoms while you were on it and making your periods lighter. I regularly get severe nausea and dizziness the week before AF shows :(

5 months isn't that long, but it does seem like an age when you're sort-of-trying doesn't it? I know it's not much consolation but at least you'll be prepared next month :)

I've been off the pill for 6 months now. I think it could be to do with PCOS. I've been reading up on it.
I've just got a very heavy period now. My moods have lifted today too.
Here's to the fun of practicing!!!!! :)
It does feel like an age because my first took 5 months.
