Why is this not happening?

Just need somewhere to moan really... Like so many there is only so much my hubby can take and although everyone knows we are going through treatment there is no one to really talk to

Clomid... Supposed to work... Didn't (7cycles)
Surgery... Supposed to work... Didn't (lap/dye/drilling)

Am I wrong to think the hormone injections to induce ovulation are not going to work?

Is that what your consultant has suggested as the next step?

When you say it didn't work, do you mean that you didn't ovulated on the Clomid or after the Surgery or you didn't get pregnant?

I didnt ovulate so therefore
Couldn't have been pregnant I'd settle
For ovulating and not getting pregnant then at least I'd know I had a shot

Yes injections next start at the beginning of October

Well, I'm not an expert but I guess the hormone injections will see whether your ovaries will respond to artificial fSH levels and release something, whereas I think clomid tries to provoke your body into increasing its own levels?
If you do produce eggs on the hormone injections will you try to conceive naturally or will they be harvesting the eggs for IVF? Guess you need to see how you respond.
If you don't respond, I expect your consultant would start talking about other options such as donor eggs. This must be very painful and so frustrating. Is your lack of ov because of PCOS? The consultant wouldn't be trying the injections if it was premature ovarian failure because it wouldn't work so they must have some expectation of success. I think it was sensible to try the other options first, And I think the clomid works differently to the injections, so there's no reason to believe that you will have the same response.
October will be here soon, if you can, try to talk through the question of what is different about the injections with your consultant, and try to find some more mental strength. It's hard going through all the processes without any sense of optimism but while protecting yourself and being realistic, try to have a little faith in the experience of your dr. If s/he didn't think it could possibly work they would be dissuading you from going through the discomfort, inconvenience and expense. Good luck!

Yes it is because of pcos that I am
Having problems but I have known since I was 16 so I always knew it would be difficult.

I think they are going to see if the follicles
Develop and produce mature eggs then trigger ovulation with a hcg shot and hope get the swi right first. Next step
Would be ivf I guess if I ovulate ONI he Fiona but don't get pregnant. I think I have the eggs so that's not the problem, the problem is helping them mature fully
Which hopefully the injections will do x
