I'm Over-reacting! AAHH!

I've done a bad bad thing. Well it wasn't just me, DH and I did a bad bad thing!

We have one very very young baby and a youngish toddler and a few weeks ago (with a very new baby) we did the naughty thing and didn't use anything. It was a one off, I'm breastfeeding and I had one very light one day period and nothing since and the whole nothing since thing is beginning to make me wonder and the wondering is making my brain itch, soon it'll turn into all out panicking.

And what's even worse is that we're so skint that I don't have enough money to buy a test! I have enough bus fair and toddler group money (£3.50) for tomorrow and that's it. And I don't dare mention it to DH! AAAAAH!

How young is the baby?

do you have a digital thermometer? If so take your temp first thing in the morning before you get up for a few days - then post the results here - we can give you an idea if they are high - which could be an indication of pregnancy.

Trying not to give out too many details because some people will p*ss themselves laughing at me!

8 weeks.

If I am it's a real posibility I'll throw myself off a cliff, probably why I'm worrying so much!

When was your light period?

It was, oh, gawd, I can't remember anything! I've still got my pregnancy head on!

The lochia lasted about a week, then it was a week after that I think that I had the period, did the naughty at 5 weeks

OhPoo - I would imagine your light 'period' was actually more lochia! I think its really unusual for lochia to stop after only a week. Mine lasted about 4 weeks with ds and 2-3 wks with dd, although really light.

I think you'll be ok! Only one way to know for sure though.
