Oh... why are babies sometimes so slow at coming? I am now on day 42 of my cycle- usually only 33 days in length and reading every fertility and conception book going.
Started to monitor my cm and temp this week- as in zita west's book - which is v. good!
My cycle is usually- well was before pregnancy and the pill... only 33 days. Now gone all haywire. And trying to find the cause. I think it's that i'm v.overweight tho not sure.
Stopped the pill in July and didn't have a period until the end of October. Now not even sure if it was a proper period and not just an anovulatory bleed... as I have read.
As you can see turning into a real hypocondriac and charting every day! HELP
Should I make a docs appointment and have a smear, I am due one and talk about my cycle then? Don't want her to think i'm a mad woman tho!

Hi - after ds2, when my periods came back they were 'all over the place'. After 12 months of waiting for them to settle down - also didn't want dr to think I was a hypochondriac (sp?) - I went to dr (she was incredibly sympathetic btw)who did smear and referred me to gynae. After several visits and lots of tests - all inconclusive/normal, consultant put it down to mid cycle bleeding, of no barrier to getting pg - and I told him I'd had +ve pg test 3 days earlier!!! So do go and see your dr as you suggest, esp if smear due.

Small tip - if your hospital is anything like ours, try and stay in gynae lists, rather than infertility - where waits are several times longer for exactly the same tests.

Wishing you lots of luck

Thank you!!!
Just never spoke to anyone with this problem before and she said last time, I went for smear and for her to sign a health form- I just started spotting that day which them turned into a period- that the pill may affect my cycle. It never has before, so why now! She said it was pretty normal after a baby too, why has no one else told me about this!???
Or is it because i'm fat , fatter than I have ever been since D was born???
Feels great to know that someone lese has been in the same boat as me and came out the other side... Thank-you !!!
